Alba Ben
Alba Ben is my Nursery dog from 2009 by Nap & out of Lyn.
I ran Lyn in the 2008 National
Nursery Final where we finished 5th overall.
Lyn is
out of Nell
(Nell is the mother of Carnegie's 2007 Scottish National Champion,
Lark, as
well as my Cap, who is Lyn's litter brother) & X Nick, who is a
litter brother to 3 time USBCHA National
Champion Bill.
(Nick's mother is International Supreme Champion Nan
X USBCHA National Champion Ben).
Ben will be available for
sale after December 10, 2009. I
qualified & ran Ben at the National Nursery Final where he earned
many fans for his enthusiasm in his work.
It is the same enthusiasm,
however, that makes him difficult to handle. He has very little eye
& little feel for stock. He does have tremendous drive, stamina
& desire to work, yet Ben is reserved with challenging stock.
It is
for this reason we believe Ben is best suited as a goose dog, where his
drive is an invaluable asset. Ben has spent the past month at "goose
dog camp" where he exceeded all expectations, swimming madly &
working geese, ducks & chickens!
